I am committed to protecting our people, the environment and our assets from accidents and harm.

Zero accidents and harm can be achieved by:

 

  • Identifying risks associated with our activities
  • Implementing mitigating actions to reduce the risk to as low as reasonably practicable
  • Seeking clean-design and green operations standards
  • Assuring our employees are provided with the necessary resources, equipment, and training, in which they understand their personal responsibility for conducting operations in a safe, environmentally friendly and efficient manner

Certifications and memberships

Havfram has developed and operates a HSEQ system in accordance with stringent industry standards. We monitor performance in the area of HSEQ in the same way and with the same rigor as we monitor business performance. Our HSEQ performance is systematically measured and evaluated against requirements set out in the annual HSEQ program.

Covering the service range of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation (EPCI) and maintenance of subsea installations, umbilicals, risers, flowlines and other subsea components, Havfram is certified by DNV GL for the following three standards:

  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems – Requirements*
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental management*
  • ISO 45001 – Occupational health and safety standard

In addition, Havfram is a qualified supplier by:

  • EPIM
  • Achilles JQS (Joint Qualification System)
  • FPAL verify
  • ISNetworld
  • Utilities NCE

Havfram is also a member of:

  • IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association)

Measures

We work systematically with HSEQ throughout the entire company and all projects, in order to reinforce awareness and further improve our performance.

  • Staff competency requirements – To ensure that all personnel taking part in Havfram’s activities onshore and offshore are always fully able and prepared to do their tasks in a safe and efficient manner, we have stringent procedures in place. All of our personnel are familiar with all routines, equipment and procedures relevant to their field of work and concrete tasks and responsibilities.

 

  • Risk assessment – We conduct risk assessments at all relevant phases and levels of a project and implement mitigating measures accordingly. Our procedures for risk assessment imply that we:
    • Systematically identify potential hazards to people, the environment and assets
    • Analyse and evaluate risk
    • Identify mitigation actions

 

  • Havfram’s department manager are responsible for the identification and assessment of critical risks within their own area of responsibility, in addition to the implementation of risk reduction measures.

 

  • HSEQ data management – To drive continued improvement in the area of HSEQ, we have designed procedures and systems for collection and handling of such data.
    • Systematically collect and analyse data and follow-up on all HSEQ incidents, including near-misses and nonconformities
    • Developed a comprehensive system that identifies, and shares lessons learned throughout our own and clients’ organisation. The system covers all worksites were Havfram personnel operate.

Havfram Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

for the Year ending 31 December 2020

This statement, relating to the financial year ending 31 December 2020 outlines the steps we have taken to assess our operations and supply chain and mitigate any risk of slavery or human trafficking. We are absolutely committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly and are absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities.

Our Organisation

We are a Norwegian Subsea contractor with a global horizon delivering full EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) services within the area of marine and subsea operations.

Our Approach

Havfram has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking , which is underpinned by the following policies:

  • Our Employee Code of Conduct makes it clear to all employees the actions and behaviours expected of them when representing Havfram and encourages the highest standards of conduct and ethical behaviour.
  • Havfram and committed to dealing with concerns about the Company or supply chains of the Company in an open and responsible manner. Our Whistleblowing Procedure is designed to make it easy for employees to make disclosures without fear or retaliation via our confidential channels.
  • Our Supplier Declaration sets out our requirements that suppliers will provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect and act ethically and within the law in their use of labour.

Our Training

Havfram realise that training on modern slavery and human trafficking will increase awareness as well as mitigate risk within the business and our supply chain and will require all procurement and HR staff to complete training on modern slavery.  In addition to training the organisation will raise awareness of modern slavery issues though regular email communications with all staff.

Due Diligence

We undertake due diligence when taking on new suppliers and regularly review our existing suppliers.  Where we use external agencies to provide staff, these agencies are subject to the same procurement due diligence as any other supplier.

Performance Indicators

Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be developed and applied to measure our effectiveness of our compliance with the Modern Slavery Act and will include that all supply chain and HR professionals have completed training on modern slavery and a review of existing supply chains whereby the organisation evaluates all existing suppliers takes place.
